In the video, I put a lot of emphasis on how and why I thought this place was going to be a disguise for some sort of sexual activity. I just want to make it clear right away that I have never been more WRONG. I would also like to point out that reviews calling it a massage are questionable as well.
It is however a very enjoyable and interesting experience, and I don't seem to be the only one who has reaped the benefits, despite a certain amount of disbelief. I'll try to tl;dr it a bit from what I said in the video, but I do highly suggest watching that to get a clear understanding of what goes on.
I honestly can't even be sure I know the proper official name of this place, but it located inside of Evo Spa, and the guy running this particular room is named Greg. This is energy healing, commonly known as reiki. According to Google, reiki is defined as "a healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient's body and restore physical and emotional well-being." He facilitates this by gentle touch, none of which is inappropriate. For example, he would place a couple fingers on my wrist, and his other hand behind my shoulder. You actually feel the energy flowing back and forth between the two points! Moving downwards, my legs began to tense up to the extreme. He was able to pinpoint that I had a pretty extreme injury to them that has left me with permanent internal damage and disability.
At another point, I had started to see myself and imagine that I was in a jungle petting a cheetah. I'm not a big believer in dream analysis, but if that is your thing, give this a go! I had my doubts when he said this particular instance of meditation was going to make me see things, but low and behold! He was correct. I'm honestly really interested in if this experience would give others such extreme effects as it gave me.
